I used that ontrack software and recovered all of my data off my 300gb external drive. I took the casing apart and plugged it into my desktop machine though as I didn't want to take any chances of the usb drive powering down or anything like that!

I used my free upgrade on my Dell 9400. Apart from a sound issue where Dell released a duff HD sound driver, my experience of Vista has been great! All my programmes work (I have to run a couple as admin). Very impressed so far!

This is at it's worst at 70 for me. At 3000rpm the exhaust drones which is pretty much the revs your doin when at 70mph. Once you get up past 4000rpm the exhaust sounds brilliant!:D

My 172 with decat is too loud for any serious motorway use. I drove to wales recently and it was very annoying, it was difficult to hold a conversation at normal level. I think the 182 exhaust is quiter though isn't it? Middo has the same exhaust as me without the decat.

I've just put vista on my laptop and I'm very impressed with it. My everday programmes seem to run as quick as on XP. If I had the choice I'd be going with Vista.
