sell/bin the tyres you have, get some mk1 clio 16v wheels (mine cost me £50) and stick some tyres on those. theyre supposedly very strong wheels and not massively heavy

Re: Eds ph1 172 - The soon to be controversial project!
because in all fairness i wont be doing any more trackdays til next season now i shouldnt think, and the gains to be had from cooling ducts to the brakes is pretty minimal, so didnt see much point really.
have got a spare set of blanks i...
got the gaz golds on mine, pretty happy with them despite the opinions some people on here have of them.
you could always hold out and wait for some h&r, kw or asts to pop up as they sometimes do for that sorta price
had a 172 cup, bought a 200sx as wanted to go drifting, got bored of drifting and realised quite how much upkeep those cars need, so came back to a ph1 172, and dont think i'll ever sell this one!
ah cool! another local clio owner!
mine has coilovers, ktec stealth, r888s and buckets now too. was dropping someone back to hamble, so dont normally go through that way. do you live down in woolston then?
hi guys,
getting carbon doorcards so need to relocate my window controls.
where have people moved them to? what switches have you used? and are they particularly difficult to wire?
any pics or help much appreciated
many thanks

hey all,
swapping ktec centre sections with another user. (he wants the quiet one and i want the loud one) and have a feeling there are some bits i need or dont need to keep
his section is off a ph2 and mine off a ph1.
am i right in thinking theres some flange or something i need to keep? or...
hi all
need to replace my rear brakes as it'd be an understatement to say mine are knackered!
have HCs and ds2500s with AP 600 fluid and braided lines
rears i was gonna replace with standard gubbins.
was told that due to the pads being totally different compounds that they'll warm up at...
they'd ordered a set of the 'mark fish' springs direct from eibach apparently, thats all i know.
without seeing a set of the ones in the group buy i wouldnt know if theyre the same?
dave - thanks for the input, but the company who ordered said product in for Mr Wills were the ones who commented on the product having the same code, not Matt himself, so i'm just going by what they said tbh
thing with spacers is though, theyve been around so long people have found the cheapest way to make them, hence the prices are pretty much as low as they can be. topmounts i can look into. and yeah the engine cover idea is a good one :D
just a heads up to you guys,
the 'Mark Fish' springs have the same product code as Regular Eibach Sportlines, so they may not be quite as special as everyone thinks. Eibach did make a specific trophy spring that was better than the standard one, but i think its been discontinued now
tim, the gazs i've got are a lot cheaper than the FKs i think, about £500 from k-tec
will be sitting down with the guys i'll be working with at the end of the week so shall give feedback on whats gonna be happening :)
In theory yeah i'd think it'd have more likelihood of cracking/shattering. scratching etc would be dependant on the quality of topcoat and paint/lacquer i'd assume.
FG trial panels should be pretty inexpensive so i'll get a set made, and attack them with a hammer/foot lol
i know for a fact that theres little hope of getting CF doorcards any cheaper than that GB price as i'm getting myself a set made and they're likely to pretty much the same amount,
will see what i can do in FG
