got the powerflex and the vibratechnics fitted today. initial impressions are more vibration at idle (not excessive) and smoother through gearchanges and on and off throttle. also seems to have quietened to exhaust a bit as it too :)

Re: Eds ph1 172 - The soon to be controversial project! Right, few more updates. today had the vibratechnics engine mounts fitted, brake fluid changed for AP 600, and some carbon fibre blanks made up for the foglights. have decided against the seats, as moneys a little tight and gonna get...

idle generally seems to suffer after belts have been changed for some reason. dont ask me why though.......

have you actually done a trackday in the car yet? I'd go out on a day and decide from there. I've started hanging around with a few people who've been involved in motorsport for a loooooong time, and having gone in with ideas of loads of engine mods and chasing bhp figures, they've convinced me...

Had the S-Drives on my old cup. very good tyre for the money, and held up on track pretty damn well too!

heard these are quite heavy and have a tendancy to bend!

I'd agree with nick, theres loads around for a lot less, which are probabaly going to be lighter and you'll be able to choose from a range of different styles. i may have a pair for sale. PM me if you'd like some pics :) ed

I'd probabaly reckon on £250ish dependant on what condition the tyres are in, as those lips'll need re-polishing. what are they? Brocks?

Re: Eds ph1 172 - The soon to be controversial project! Just picked up some new seats :) going to be cleaned and repaired, and the backs painted a nice bright shade of green :D Also got my 888s ready to go on, so should be done during the week.

If you can get it for a few hundred less ( around the 2600 mark) then i reckon its not bad, especially as its from a dealer, and would no doubt come with a warranty. Depends on quite how tidy the car is i guess?

Had mine done today. Was a little out, so adjusted it to suit. Rear end we got very close, and front to with a reasonable distance too. Very happy with the results and everything feels a lot more balanced and poised than it used to, and considering it was quite inexpensive it was definitely...

the gazs on my ph1 were all the way down (tucking tyre at the back) and didnt scrub unless i was 4 up
