Racing blue for me!
Plus Stripes! :D
(only just realised the Lovely lighter blue was called racing - I have been calling it Arctic )
So... Racing all the way!
I agree....
I drive 1.2 clio on weekdays, then hop in the 16v and it really is a scary difference in performance (and im a careful driver too! lol). Im still getting used to it after 3 months.
I would b feeling pleased with myself if i was you!
Sounds like your going to make yourself some money!
Key is, start going quiet on the subject and theyll soon start thinking your having 2nd thoughts, then take the cash! :D
I drove a 1.2 8v for 3 years before i got my 16v.
I have had my valver for over 3 months now and im still getting used to it.
I drive it very carefully, and am alot more experienced due to driving a slower car before it. If your 17 and get in a valver, your more than likely going to get over...
Blimey a 16v at 17??
Some companies said I had to be 21 to insure mine
I got a good deal in the end. Im 20.
over £2,500 is ridiculous to pay for insurance! But if you have the money and are willing to pay it, then thats your choice. As for it sounding about right, yeah i spose thats what u...
Im dreading getting any rust on mine! I dont let it get dirty! lol
Id want to pay for a new wing if it happened on mine (personally)
Some of the prices are varying on here! £400? £190?
(touch wood i dont get any!)
I only drive mine on weekends and sometimes on an evening. But normally get around 250 + (prob more to be honest) from a tank.
(I go easy mind )

This is what I do. I always just cruise at 65-70 on the motorway in the valver. Nice feeling. And like you say, the looks you get are nice.
Im very careful with my 16v, when you put your foot down..... vrrrrooooom! that noise is absolute class.
Tom
From what I have been reading it was mate :D
One mag gave it stars for each sesction i.e. interior, handling etc. The only one that let it down was interior noise lol
one quote was "Renault have achieved a new class standard for civilised speed"
Also goes onto say that road...
In one of the mags, it shows a 85 yr old lady (ish) that was an ex race driver. She wanted to change cars and she tested the corrado vr6 and a red valver.......
Yep, she chose the valver! :D
Handling etc round B roads it really shined!
Havnt heard much in terms of comparisons between golf...
I have two mags from 1992 and 1994 that review the valver
Ones is the a6v vs the rs1800 fiesta (valver comes out trumps!)
The other is a really good review

Not a daft plan at all Toypop
I prob need to explain the situation a bit better..
Basically, my sis needs to save a bit more cash. The company her husband works for can get a very good deal on some new cars (the clio being one) but the car would be leased (for a year). Then after that year...
I see your point, but she is only selling the ZS to save herself some money for the time being (she can get a really good deal on new clios)
The dci is sounding a great option
She doesnt do loads of miles but economy is a good thing when trying to save cash. She would prob go for a 182 after...
