Hope your alright! Must have been scary finishing upside down! I was surprised to see it roll over so easily from sliding sideways! Did one o the wheels dig into the grass or something?

I had a dimma 205 that someone threw eggs at. Not only was it nasty to clean up but where the egg hit the car there was an oval of small chips where the hard shell had dug into the paint. Looked a mess afterwards and I ended up getting the bonnet and wing resprayed. Gutted for you mate.

As markcup said though, there shouldn't be any overtaking in the corners, so I can't see how he can be at fault!

£13995 and it's done nearly 14000 miles!! Theyre having a larf!

That is a problem with the car, I bought it with about 60 miles on the clock and it had been washed twice by the dealer, swirl marks galore!! It's not that bad really, but they are there and the cleaner it is the more they stand out! I'll be looking at getting it PC'd before the summers out...

You set a new high in the clean stakes though! Doubt mine shall match that! Just wanna see some sun on it to let the gold out!:cool:

Thanks for the comments. It does look kinda high, but theres no way I'm changing the suspension! LOL (I couldn't bring myself to do it!). Ride height is the one thing I would change on the car though. I think the camera angle does exagerate to some extent. I used meguiars 3 step cleaning...

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but took full advantage of long weekend to clean the trophy. Due to work commitments she hadn't been cleaned for five weeks! It's all good now though! :D

Well...... visited Jessops. Spoke to a guy that was very knowledgable! He was trying to sell me a Nikon D70S. Slightly out of my price range once I've added a telephoto lens. I like the 350d. I'm not going to bother with the USM version of the lenses. I'm also toying with the idea of buying...

Thats a great photo Rich, yours too R20GRC the kinda thing I'm aiming for. I think i might just go for the cheaper camera and lens from Amazon then spec a better telephoto lens. On the Jessop site they list two different fittings for the sigma range onto canon cameras. Canon AF or Canon FD...

Rich, I have just been reading about USM on the Canon site. It relates to (as you said) the type of motor in the lens. Non USM are DC motors instead. Question is, is it worth the extra money and shall I notice any difference? Especially as it's been said the standard lens isn't up too much...

Well I took the car into Renault this morning. Guess what........... Its the engine mount. They also don't have any in stock so it needs to be booked back in after easter! And they made me late for work by having to wait around for them faffing around! Grr!:mad:

The back to back is a great idea! My first car was a 205 gti 1.6. I loved that car. Pity it was so long ago that I sold it, as I can't really compare it too the trophy.

Mines done 2500 miles and the furthest its been in one journey is about 100 miles:o . I'm planning to get more use this summer as Winter driving sucks when trying to keep the car clean! I must admit all 2500 miles have been driven with a huge grin!:D

It does get driven quite hard, more so enthusiastically.:D From what i've read, I think it's just the engine mount needs tightening or tweaking not replacing. (I hope). Just as long as it's all under warranty i don't mind! Lee, i'll keep a look out for his car. Haven't seen it around before!

It does sound like the drivers side. Muppet on the service desk was trying to tell me it was a clutch problem. The guy next to him had to take over, this guy seemed quite knowledgable! I don't know who's servicing it, if it's is Chris Green I'll say Hi. Think I'm going to leave a huge sign...
