best bet is renault themselves. i got mine from them. worked out cheaper than buying from k-tec unless you live close to k-tec

will this seal kit fit my master cylinder?

fred is correct. I made up my cam locking tool and bought the crank locking tool from renault as i wasn't happy with the haynes idea. renault charge £500-600 to do a cambelt change. I know why. you will need to replace the cam seals etc aswell.
if your confident then have a go. buy a megane haynes manual which covers the f4r engine and then follow it closely.
Should be alright just take your time.
hi all, i'm after a NEW master cylinder for my clio 172. any idea where i can get one apart form the stealer.
I've tried the local motor factors but they don't have them stocked.
any advice helpful;)
discs are £90 each but yelowstuff pads are only £30. and yes you keep the bell housing and bolt on new disc. A pad change will take 5 minutes as the pads are held in with a locking pin.

fred is correct, i fabricated one up as I wasn't going to pay £30 for the bar and you don't get the socket either.
can be done without the tool! more fluffing
t**t driver who speeds on a quiet side road deserves everything he/she gets. you may claim to be young and stupid but you could of killed the other guy. then how would you feel!!! wake up and get some lessons

"makes the car seem faster and louder":quiet:
this is the common clio problem. time to replace your mid section of exhaust. the problem is called the 4k rattle. almost all clio's get it at some point unless you fit an aftermarket catback exhaust system.
i bought my 172 with finance outstanding. went round to view it and asked seller why he didn't tell me he had finance owing on the car. got a bargain on the car as i paid off the finance on the spot and gave him the change.
