I stuck 25mm spacers on the front of mine, brings the front wheels out nicely filling the arches. Also i found the car felt more planted on the road with a wider track.
A proper icon, love the dimma cars. Good luck with it mate.
As for the odd bits you need try ebay, scrappers, wanted section on here. Also worth pm'ing winston on here as he is often breaking older clios.
If its just a kn panel filter you are after(that replaces the std paper filter using the std airbox) then these are fairly inexpensive, £20ish, and should give slight power gains and an extra bit of noise.
Another local, hi. For the cost of it new induction kit don't bother, as its only noise its going to be making. If you can pick one up second hand then go for it.
Alternatively get a high flow panel filter, will give slight gains and a little more noise.
As for the origional making more noise id...
Are you planning on removing the tyre or just softening it enough to get the masking tape tucked behind the rim, if its the latter you shouldn't need to let it go completely down.
When i went from a 1.2 to my 1.6 i noticed the clutch was stiffer. Also was your last car cable throttle or the other type(forgot the name). As if you went from a non cable to a cable throttle you would prob feel a bit of a difference.
Just getting ideas really, has an article on it in PFC, i believe an aftermarket ecu is a necessity though, which would put the price up a little more.
