David, I think I agree with what you have said about the CD springs, however did you find that the back is now a little more mobile afterwards - or maybe its my tired Contis......

David, the reason I ask is HP fitted CD springs for me and I didnt know much about them...but the drop was just about right - visually - ......how do you find them when driving in terms of handling/ride etc....
Iid like to fit adjustable shocks but I dont think they are available yet...

It was my car on the RR that showed it running lean at 6k+rpm. Whos in charge of the engine at high rpm? Is it the ECU or the lamda...?
Gonna stick it back on the RR next week now that the IK is off, to see if that makes a difference....

When Nick@HP did my exhaust, I got the original one back intact and ready for refitting....
Tonys right, its quite *vocal* at around 4/4.5k rpm but when the VVT kicks in and you start to go past 80 it gets significantly quieter all the way up to 140......
I now love going through tunnels...
I think you are entering *ban* territory @ 90mph....which is probably why the police dont do much up to that speed as you only get points....
In dont even think its to do with the 90mph - more to do with the % above the speedlimit...
Can anyone else confirm/deny this.....?

JJ, its not a Viper, its HPs own design, using a RamAir IK and HP custom heatshielding and twin air intakes....I have piccies but dont have any way of getting them on here........elp!

I have to admit, I find my Contis ok in terms of high speed cornering - even in the wet. Although I noticed they *feel* better in the wet after the 30mm drop...
Thanks Nick. Ive been trying to get through to NH today but I think hes busy....I definitely want to get this done ASAP as I hate the thought doing any possible damage to the engine!
And Ill be trying to get it past Eagle Star, after all, according to the RR print, the car is performing...
The only problem with chipping is the cost. Called Power Engineering just to enquire what a Unichip costs and its around £500+, including the RR sessions to set it up, which is quite a lot really, Superchips is around £300+, not icluding the RR sessions. Power boost valve is around £75+, plus...
The lowering has had a big impact on body roll - it always feels solidly planted now, although I need to do a few more miles; firm but fair is how I would describe it now..
The RamAir induction kit, HP heat shielding/twin air scoop and exhaust - The car revs much more smoothly to the limiter...
HP dropped mine by 30mm but I dont know who the springs are made by. It has made the ride very firm and roll free, which is great. Definitely worth doing......
I didnt realise tht the tracking might be out, so Im going to check that out...

My car is at HP for some mods and I wondered if anyone else has tried anything similar.....lots asking nobody doing!
40mm drop (if mk1 lowering kit works on mk2)
Cat back exhaust - HP custom - assuming its at least as good as a Magnex
HP induction kit - front fog air intake leading to a...
