Poor car got attacked by a gate post when the clitch cable snapped and ended up with Dints all down the passenger side... Sold it on to a lad who made it a track car...

Yea I was just assuming if he is only wanting to spend £600 then he Isn't going for the greatest set up.. But for that money you can get quite a bit.

Personally I wouldn't bother spending a fortune on a top end alpine head unit, I've always found that Sony head units are very good... And can be got for a reasonable price... Get yourself to halfords and get yourself a package sub amp etc. you can only have it so loud before your car rattles...

This is exactly what I though when I got to "boy racer/ council estate touring car look" Please don't make your own anchor point for your seat belt by bending a bit of metal and drilling it... You will end up trough your windscreen!!

My grandad had an issue with a Renault dealership, gearbox went on him 1.2 clio after 1400 miles.. AA came out to take the car to the dealership and for 8 days they refused to accept that the gearbox had gone even though the AA man told them it had... In the end they stripped it down and found...

What would be causing it to burn oil? Is that a bad thing? I know it's not good but on a scale of 1-10 one being good what would you say?

I've checked the oil and it's not Losing it on a regular basis, it's not loosing coolant No gunk on dip stick or in oil cap.. a lad at work told Me it was white when he was behind me the other day on the way home...
