You could always buy an aftermarket hid kit off eBay.. Just get a low K value set they are £35 from Japan and aren't that bad.

I bought mine of hiddirect site and they are good.. I went for the 6000k. Just a tinge of blue.. Look good.

Just out of interest had somebody changed the fuse in the past and put an over rated fuse in its place as it should have blown long before it got hot enough to ignite?

Just to add I know the key fob works when it's getting the correct voltage as I wired it to a 2v power supply at work the other day and it worked fine. And the battery ha dropped to 0.3v when I measured it with a multi meter. So it is just hammering through battery's

As above my key fob is going through battery's like there is no tomorrow. It s for a mk 2 clio This type of key. It's gone through two brand new energiser battery's in 6 weeks. Surely they last for years. Anyone tell me the original battery that should be in them as I replaced like for like...

It's not too bad to use, just got to get used to it. Spend a couple of hours on it and learn the tools you can use and it gets easier... There are user guides online specific to modifying cars on photoshop. Pretty useful

Ah I see then my 172 has projectors with xenon bulbs... Do all 172s come with this except the cup.
