Im sure driving round with the windows down will waste more fuel than having the aircon on. I can see a few new cups to be ordered with air con so with any luck r-sport will bring out an ecu that works with it. although the 172 needs auto lights and wipers in the ecu as well:(

if we are talking Skoda RS then do not underestimate these. Standard they are not far off the 172 and chipped probably faster in a straight line at least. I saw a couple of standard ones running low 15s for the 1/4 mile
