I have that engine in my megane sport tourer. Pretty painful standard tbh but with a tuning box fitted its 10x better. So much more low down torque and you can actually overtake on the motorways without having to bang it down 2 gears like some kind of VTEC lol I've done 53k on mine from new now...

Is that a scorpion? just got quoted £355 from AMD in essex for a scorpion cat back fitted. Scared it will be loud though and I would have wasted that money! Also got a quote from longlife in carshalton for £389 and he reckons they can do it quiet like standard.

If I had to use the clio everyday then I would have a standard exhaust on it already! Luckily I have a diesel megane too.

Yeah turbos are definitely quieter. Id honestly say its near as loud as your clio was. I wouldn't mind if it was a V8/V10 but with a 4cyl it's not the nicest noise lol
