Ye definitely, might only be a 1.2 but they are nippy for what they are and consumption is good on them. I wouldnt complain if i was getting it bought for me!
Dynamique all the way, dont think it can be *mugen* tuned though;)
Ive got a dynamique and i want to fit an after market CD changer. i heard there was a bracket to hold the CD changer that can be bought from renault, which goes in place of the black plastic tray under the passenger seat.
I went into Renault Coventry and asked about the bracket but the parts...
Yours isnt Euro! Id define it as smooth, simplistic, very low on small but wide rims, pastel colours or in some cases, gay graphics.
Have a look on http://www.carstyling.netwww.carstyling.net but to be honest, i dont think the Mk 2 clios look very good on small wheels as they are quite high...
new dynamiques have all that mate, what year is yours? Try something....
Turn your ignition to the second position but dont start the engine, Turn your dipped beam on and off twice in succession. You may hear a beep. If you do, start the engine and see if the lights come on when the stalk is...
i was looking on a salvage site and there were a few rolled clios in there, They wer completely smashed u but the passenger compartments were still fully intact and the roof wasnt caved in.
Dynamique - Alloys, electric windows, fog lamps, rain sensing wipers, auto headlights, slightly different suspension, spoiler some other stuff i cant think of!
The 1.2 Authentique was an 8v i think, but they may also do a 16v version.
Dynamique is a better buy id say, what litre are you...
i heard the 1.2 16v doesnt make a massive induction roar but saying that, i took my whole airbox of just to see what it sounded like and it was pretty loud. Only took it off for a minute, obviously!
Just because its a Cup doesnt mean the man cant have decent sounds, FFS!!! Stripping the Cup might have been Renaults objective but it doesnt mean everyone who buys one has to leave it that way, Some people might buy Cups for the looks alone, ever thought of that one? And a little bit of ice...
Ah but the cup has a wider track anyway. 5mm spacers will go on apparently, without needing different bolts. im hopefully getting some on saturday so ill let you know how i get on. i was going to go a bit wider but i cant be arsed with changing the bolts.
I was trying to work out how to match...
You can fit any engine into anything if youre willing to spend the time/money. What have the standard injectors got to do with anything if you get a whole new engine?
try here for a few smashed up clios and email the geezer for a quote on a new 1.2 16v engine. http://autos.blue-sock.com/clients/1/http://autos.blue-sock.com/clients/1/
Dont believe you lunner, i pissed all over a 1.2 in my old RT on the A45, he was miles behind! and i could get 90mph in 3rd gear! Its higher up the gears that the car is more likely to pull away. ie, i kept up with a VTR to around 50-60mph in my new car and thats only a 1.2. But with the mk1 i...
SMokey McPot, sounds like D&B!! Pendulums the man right about now. I like a bit of hip-hop to cruise to, the lil john album is good for bangin your head to!
sorry, i didnt even look to see if anyone else wanted them! PMd him straight away! Anyway, you shouldnt be so selfish, ive only got measly (common as fcuk) 15s!
cheers for the info though;)
Im gettin some cup wheels on saturday (thanks to andrew) and wanted to know if they will fit straight on or whether i will need spacers. The cars not lowered yet so dont have to worry about rubbing. Anyone know if Rob Fenn has spacers?
cheers
