Yeah the original seats had airbags in them - that's one of the reasons they're ridiculously heavy! You'll need resistors for the the recaros to fool the airbag ecu into thinking they're still connected.
Have you jacked your car up and checked for any movement in the rear beam out of interest? After seeing big gash's misfortunes, it definitely sowed a seed of doubt in my mind for mine - hence checking it. I would've expected the toe in on the rear of yours to make it more stable as well tbh...
For those that have the pms rear beam kit fitted, James has spoken to nick @ pms today and on James's car it's purely looking like a complete one off. I spoke to big gash whilst he was on his lunch break today and this is the general gist of what nick told him:

I drive a mk5 1.6 golf match as my daily drive and tbh I'm glad I do!! The Clio as much fun as it is, would boil my urine if I had to drive it on a daily basis! I like the comfort and the gadgets of the golf to much as well! Cup is just a toy really.
The lad over the road has a mugen civic...
See that's the difference for me with the Astra as its the engine, box, suspension and fuel system that are worth the money to make stripping it feasible. I didn't have a cage as the car was a 2bar boost sleeper! Caught many an unsuspecting supercar driver out in that car! The bodyshell is in...
