I got my sachs back and I was thinking about the cheap BG refurb but if the pistons are scored, honestly, f**k em.
So I'll be getting in touch with them soon and try to get the bad boys inspected......
the car s ok, and the clutch works fine through out the gears, just the odd time when you get the short grind noise/vibration in first gear as soon as the car pulls after the biting point.
If there s just a cable between you and the clutch, I cant help thinking something is wrong with the clutch...
Mine doenst sound like a clutch bearing, just a light grinding noise along with vibrations through the pedal when releasing the clutch, past the biting point.
actually, I'm starting to think it might be the clutch self adjuster wearing the teeth down

since I got back to stock dampers the steering didn't feel as sharp as before especially on the straight, though I had to much front camber!
got it checked it looked alright but they insisted to go for -2 at the front, he spent ages to loosen up the bolts and said they were way to...
yeah I'll do it soon, but I went for a drive today, checked the tyres pressure and the front ones were quite low, about 30.
Obviously the car feels better but what I couldn't help noticing (and that's the scary bit) the steering wheel sometimes is off right or left depending on how aggressive...
