I reckon I'd save about 2 kilos replacing windows and wing mirror lol
I see, I was thinking to get manual wing mirrors as well and replace the mirror cover, even more useless then lol
listen if for some weird reasons I do go about it, are the glass windows exactly the same between the two systems?
Never seen a ph2 with manual windows, really? even my 1.4 dymanique had electric winds
Id have thought they were much heavier than a manual equipped door, im wrong, anit I?
I know that may sound idiotic at first.......
If I wanted to rid my 172 cup of the electric windows, would a mk2 ph1 door card with manual winder fit in a 172 door?
has anyone tried to do that?
sorry just to fully understand.......
whats the price of those form new?
it this link is genuine why people s asking for 350 for a second hand one
sorry again but im not into smartphones at all...
point taken :D loved the impression of me panicking AHHHHHHH

Had a 28k miles 182 for 2 years and no one problem, just wondering how tired a 90k engine would be, that's it
Im not hugely bothered about the high milage just concerned about putting up witha car that randomly breaks down
But I guess thats down to service history and the attention it received...

Looks like this one received some attentions but the mileage is putting me off :(
I never had a car with such a high mileage, I was after a cup with no more than 60k would you get one with 90k miles?
Re: do you recognise this one? 172 cup owners
got in touch with him and asked for number plate (MK53PFF) and last mot ref number, when i asked about the cambelt he went ...I cant say anything about it
now I spotted the very same car on autotrader and it says it all about the cambelt...
there all look nice on pics
it has a fabia front splitter, wheels well kerbed, small scrape on front bumper, massive scratches on rear right side on left wing mirror, headlight are faded
positive note the interior are in top condition very well preserved!

went to see this one last Sat, he said the car was mechanically perfect and it was last serviced in JUly 1k miles ago :clown:
the gearbox is PROPERLY fucked, rusty exhast and in the hanger the rubber is totally gone
good luck!
seriously I think that's what im gonna do!
i was trying to get one between 30-50k miles but they re as thrashed as any other
I might go just for a higher mileage one and bring it straight to BTM
yes you re right, its frustrating
thats the 3rd example of dodgy cup advertised as good/great example
the owner are all registered on cliosport but they wouldn't advertise the car on here, no wonder why!!
Im learning a lesson here
he wanted 25 to get a new V5 from the dvla and I agreed even if his fault cost me 80 quid, the train to get there and back home
and he f**king ruined my birthday!
yes it think so :(
true but maybe it was a clear sign he knew it was damaged.
I got back and said mate the car s fucked im not taking it, he said OK
what s weird s that he needed a quick sale but wouldnt go down in price
plus the car s still on PH.......
I went there this morning, little test drive around the block, car seemed fine except for the exhaust hanger being totally worn, gave him the cash and drove away well happy
as soon as i get on a country lane and build up the revs while changing gears the car makes a grindind noise, then i...
