Clio 172 cup 90k miles?? talk to me!

as other will say, if the history is backed up with service/belts then what is the problem? and its got good tyres and brakes then you are laughing

Looks tidy (apart from the standard steering wheel melting). Daves pink trophy is on about a million miles by now, so 90k is no issue for those engines.

Makes me want one again tbh.

Looks ok, know what you mean about the miles. If you have doubt now it will bother you even if you buy it.

Re sale value and wether its been looked after would be my biggest worry. My 182 just turned 122k the other day, doesn't bother me as I plan on running it into the ground and breaking it for bits.

All depends on what you want from it at that Kim of miles IMO.

Good luck.

Had a 28k miles 182 for 2 years and no one problem, just wondering how tired a 90k engine would be, that's it
Im not hugely bothered about the high milage just concerned about putting up witha car that randomly breaks down
But I guess thats down to service history and the attention it received in the past

AHHHHHHHHHH.

It's done 90k, it's about to die.

This isn't 1990. It's not a Mk3 Escort.

My driveway a couple of weeks back consisted of Dave's 182 (with 187k on) and my 106 (with 175k on). Both great cars! I can't remember the last time I owned something sub 120k.

Mines nearing 100k and TBH its as good as it was when i bought it on 70k.yes ive done a few bits likes shocks and brakes but thats wear and tear items that will need doing on anycar

Id rather a well loved 100k car than a 50k car as they are getting to the age where things go wrong not due to mileage but age etc

172 Cups are getting towards 10+ years old for the first ones (52 plate)...so 10 years at an average of 12k wouls be 120k for 'average' mileage. My Cup seemed to be getting stronger as it was hitting 100k...but didnt get there...was 500 miles short when she was sent to petrol heaven. :(

Dave's 172 Cup is on 118k and still getting hammered around tracks too ;)

If it's got a good service history and well looked after it'll last ages

My V6 is high milage and i know you would buy it ;)

Wish I had the balls to say no........yes I would

My Phase 1 Exclusive is on 123k and it runs really well, gearbox is tight, engine is tight. All is well.
