just thought i'd chip in about the wiring... I've got almost all my dash working (rev counter reads half - watch this space ;)) without touching the interior loom

the switches are the same on most mk2 clio era Renault iirc... so easy to get from a scrappy

the crash switch is a stand alone item that bolts to the NS suspension strut iirc *has a look for a pic*

that's your throttle position sensor ^^ should be on the same branch as the ICV, coil pack and air temp sensor... the crash switch is the one on the same branch as the +ve battery terminal. '5' is the radiator fan resistor - to allow the fan to run slower 'foglamps' is the actual radiator fan

your 'foglamp' bit looks like the fan to me? 5 is the fan resistor 6 is the crash switch your series of pics confuses me, which other ones are you missing? 10 is aircon and can be ditched iirc

mini update... now on the road :) thanks again to stu_16v for the diag port + wiring info! will get that hooked up soon... then i'll try and get a usb-obdII cable and see if the engine is running ok! :D

eh? I initially did mine aligning B and 7, but was told this was wrong (and the belt wasn't very tight) and so I re-did it aligning 6 & 7...
