Does anyone have a picture of a ph1 172 injector rail?
I'm just looking for how the fuel lines attaches (and where)
also, could anyone tell me which way round the fuel lines go? is feed at the cambelt end like a mk1?
cheers :o
does anyone know the part number of the fuel rail for the 172. I'm after the one that has the regulator built in (so 2 fuel lines)... and an approx price :o
cheers!

:edit: could a mod move to the mechanical section please :S
must be
have you probed it with a multimeter? find out where the voltage is stopping...
when you turn the ignition to stage 2, you should get a 12V pulse to prime the pump. when you start the car, it should be a constant 12V
the white wireshould go from the relay to the crash switch and then to the feed for your fuel pump (and the other to the coilpack). I chopped the connector off the end of the 172 loom and mated a valver loom connector to it. I think the wire for the fuel pump is C1 (on a ph1), but you said you...
For the fuel pump, you do need to connect it to the relay.
The 172 fuel pump relay has two white wires coming out of it (on the same spade connection). these going via the crash switch (so make so it's 'set') and one goes to the coil pack and the other to the fuel pump. You've found the valver...
cheers mattjk, wish i'd seen the offer cause I've just got one :p :(
I installed the a ph1 172 ICV and a ph1 172 MAP sensor today, and the hesitation is much less (i.e. it's not snapping my neck off!), but it is still there :dapprove:
it's only there at about up to 1/8th throttle now- as soon...
I had my valver RR'd at PS in Tewkesbury

their ATW figures are always LOL low...
On one of the airfield days, I raced against freebone who had 117atw from Hillpower iirc, and mine edged past him, meaning it was a fairly close readout...
does it from cold and warm
It's the map sensor I broke off - that must be causing it! didn't expect it to have this big an effect on things!!
rung Renault and they have one in stock! but they want £88+vat :dapprove:
