It gives you a lot more length than straight extensions because the angle (see Nick's engine bay) pushes the inlet into the bonnet. Changing the angle and moving it towards the front of the car gives you much more space. For example my total inlet tract length is 380mm whereas the maximum with...
I echo the above. No way you would have 5 mates going to the ring in identical Meganes breaking 8 minutes. Maybe with 5 pro/semi-pro drivers and specced up factory cars though.
I found the system pretty quiet with the cat still in place and the centre silencer.
I replaced the centre silencer with a smaller one and fitted a decat, it's louder but still not that loud.
I also found that a proper tail pipe is quieter in the car than a stealth system.

The runner extensions are the standard jenvey SF type extensions, you can get straight and curved ones.
I have an alternative method of doing it which would gain you more than 50mm.
I also have some plates so you can keep the grill in place but remove the slam panel and bonnet catch.
it depends which ones you get. We have various ones around the house dependant on the room and the ambience desired. You can get various temperatures and either clear or opaque lenses which can soften the light. LED bulbs are better by far imo
It's not when you consider the track is 1436mm on a cup so that gives you 4.5" each side from the ball joint to the outside of the wheel which shouldn't be far off.
Have you had the map tweaked with the airbox yet? Interested to see if you got any gains with it as I don't know what route to take with mine now it needs a new filter.
This might make a good base to build something special like the Subaru/Clio hybrid.
Check out this item I found on eBay: http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=151467084376&alt=web
And so the turbo powered sequential gearbox race Clio build begins!
Kind of wishing I hadn't blown money on other things and it was the other side of Christmas so I could take the box off you. Ah well I'm sure it'll go to someone who will use it more than me anyway!
Gap looked fine to me too. They braked too late so I would assume they weren't concentrating. It could also be the case that Mark's brake lights weren't working but I doubt that.
I got the pulley from here : http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281470785919&alt=web
You need to get the alternator pulley spacers from the same shop, I used 8 of the 10 spacers to get it the same as standard : http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=281476055349&alt=web

No problem Oli, whenever you're ready :)
Yes James, nothing to stop me being there I hope. Just a matter of swapping the rack over and redoing the toe.
Cheers :)
It's not too bad parking, on the move you can feel what the car is doing a bit more. I had a mk2 Fiesta before the Clio though so no PAS is nothing new!
Picked up a refurbed EPAS rack. I thought it was a 3.25 turn rack but it turns out to be a 2.75!
I replaced my 330mm Sabelt wheel with a 350mm Motacorsa wheel to help with steering effort. It's leather rather than suede so doesn't need as much looking after.
