Don't bother with CX-300's if you perspire alot. To get any sound, they need to be airtight as said, on a 30 minute run, the sweat in your ears breaks the seal and they fall out every 30 seconds.
Poor bastid, he wasn't to know, hence the question.
TBH, I don't think they are there to be effective, they are simply there to abide by the law that car's with Xenon headlamps must have the washers in order that particles of dirt don't refract the light and dazzle oncoming road users.
Rondhay is a good area, it must be, Jimmy Saville lives there.
My girlfriend recently moved to Belle Aisle, needless to say her car is still registered in Woodlesford.
I don't suppose you've got an address and contact details have you? Garforth to Huddersfield is only 25 min's and it's worth the trip if you're not going to get screwed.
I'm with Flux. I pay 697 fully comp with 4 years NCB @ 24 on my 172 with all mods declared. Try Churchill as well, I was very suprised at how low they were for a high street insurer.

Any solid proof to back up the mouth sweetness, quarter mile slips, videos etc?
I'll admit that I haven't but what I have got on paper doesn't look favourably upon Longbridges finest. A car with 175bhp weighing in at 1285kg vs a car with 169bhp and weighing in at 1110kg. Manipulate the...
Hair dressers car that had been there that long it left an image on your mirror, a little like running a still image on your PC without a screen saver?
As good as the MG's are, the ZS 180 has 144bhp/tonne and the lowliest of the 1*2's has 154bhp/tonne. I can't see where the smoke comes from.
It looks good though Chris. It can't be that much worse than the Apex though.
Every time I saw Jamie drive it, he was pottering along at the speed limit -10%. I remember passing him at ***mph, he was travelling the other way doing around 45 mph and I can understand why.
IMO, unless you 'need' a certain colour or the stigma attached to those elusive extra 10 PS of a 182, I would go for the cleanest, lowest mileage phase 2 172 you can find and save the rest for a house.
Compare RR figures for 1*2's and you will see that the 172 is always on top.
