I can't handle the pressure any more. He's managed to manufacture a Turbozet with a built in Power Boost Boost valve. If you twist his arm a little he will work you a 'phase 2' which also has an Ecotek valve built in and 3 in line eBay resistors.
I think we may have to wait a wee to see what Ben has up his sleeve. I'm going to keep quiet about where my cash will be going as that may give the game away.
I don't know the geography of a CTR engine and it isn't clear from the picture as to where things may be/run. The reason I ask is I have experience of a similar, supposedly turbo Corsa which had a turbo and all ancillaries installed yet the boost pipe ran into the firewall and the car ran a...
LOL, strangely enough, that did run through my mind after I had clicked post. I have just received a cheeky little PM from an unknown member which has shed a little light on things.
I've been casting a few notes aside each month for a spot of Mr R's manifold matching. I have also been on the lookout for a spare inlet manifold and plenum ready for the work.
Now I have managed to purchase an inlet manifold for which I paid the grand total of £7. Now do I purchase the...
I think you can pay for a Costco membership now, it's around £17 IIRC but I may be wrong.
Why not get Yoko' A539s? I've never experienced Exaltos but they are far superior to the standard Contis'.
I had a similar situation at Uni'. We all had dedicated parking spaces which was fair enough. But there is always a r****d who swims the wrong way down the stream. He used to park his Ford GayA against the wall running behind my parking space because he couldn't be bothred walking the extra...
My 172 has Apex spine smashers, A539's and a Sparco front strut brace. The turn in and grip is fantastic in comparison to standard. As a singular mod', you would struggle to see a gain but cumulatively, with other mods', they work IMO.
Do it Jamie. It will be just as respectable as having the 182 sat outside and to be 5k/236 PM better off will be a big help.
Where are you moving to?
Will you feasibly be able to afford a mortgage and an STI/Evo in 6 months time?
Re: RR results for 1*2s
That's the figure it made, not 177, not 178. The 1.2 Trophy bit is just a joke. It's down to the fact that I have Turinis, Trophy spoiler, splitter and 1.2 badges.
I've just re-checked the figures, 177.5 bhp and 154lb/ft. RR'd at The Racing Line with a Dyno Dynamics...
I had the same problem. The lug on the edge nearest to the handbrake had sheared off. I drilled a small hole where the lug used to be and screwed a self tapper through from the inside out. Et voila, a new lug.
It's not a hill, the road is level. From what I can gather, the car was parked further along the pavement when I first passed. The young lad driving then jumped in and set off at speed, ploughing headlong into the railings. The amusing aspect is that it is 'the' most impossible place/way to...
This picture was taken around 3 months ago. When I first passed, the car was parked up further along the pavement, nothing unusual I thought. 90 min's later after a session in the gym, we drove passed to find this. It looks like someone 'forgot' about the railings.
Oh how we laughed as we...
I'm with Flux ATM. I wanted to try Greenlight but I had to renew on a Saturday afternoon after Tesco decided to renew my policy without infomring me and Greenlight close at 12 on a Saturday IIRC.
