That looks superb.
I have never understood young lads who spend thousands on adding sh!t to their car which achieves nothing other than to make it look crap and slow it down when you can spend very little, remove bits and make it quicker and more appealing to the trained eye.
I'm not sure...
Halfrauds in Leeds employ the largest group of incompetent, lay about wasters I have ever come across. They would not know customer service if it bit them on the arse and the staff know absolutely nothing.
My last trip there around 2 years ago was a hateful affair. I went in with the intention...
First wash of the year and first for about three months.
Proper pikey products were used. Process was:
Rinse with the jet wash, soaked in a mix of 1 part gunk to 4 parts cheapo wash and wax (£5.00 for 5l tat), wheels soaked in Tesco equivalent of Fairy Power Spray, arches soaked in Cif...
Best 'looking' drop. The ride is harsh but I don't find it an issue. Turn in is fantastic. I would have to have a serious drive of an Eibach equipped car before deciding to change and there would need to be a marked improvement over the already good Apex.
I do love a project like this. Every car I have had prior to the 172 has been a write off.
I'd bin that door though. I think you will struggle to straighten out the door frame.
172 back bumper is the same, just CC'd. Front would need wings and skirts so would raise costs.
I don't understand how these can possibly work without being hard wired into the ECU somewhere.
A tad cheaper: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GTECH-Performance-Meter-Pro-0-60-1-4-Mile-Modified-NEW_W0QQitemZ140079031712QQihZ004QQcategoryZ122140QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Just a thought really. I'll probably get flamed for it.
Given that it is difficult to get in to really scrub these areas with the Apex fitted, would a coat of this stuff left to soak do any good?
Two very different ways of doing the same thing.
I couldn't justify the CTR's extra cost of purchase and insurance combined with the lower spec. Notwithstanding the fact that they look like:

That seems a bit steep mate. I pay £697 with Flux, all mods declared, 24, 4 years NCB, 0 points.
Although i'm not sure how much they charge for the protection, Euro cover or 9 points LOL.
That is in Garforth BTW.
