few more pics of my mk1 after a gooood wash!

That looks superb. I have never understood young lads who spend thousands on adding sh!t to their car which achieves nothing other than to make it look crap and slow it down when you can spend very little, remove bits and make it quicker and more appealing to the trained eye. I'm not sure...

Halfrauds, now on my thumbs down list

Halfrauds in Leeds employ the largest group of incompetent, lay about wasters I have ever come across. They would not know customer service if it bit them on the arse and the staff know absolutely nothing. My last trip there around 2 years ago was a hateful affair. I went in with the intention...

    Apex 182 opinions

Me, other than the harsh ride, really don't see the issue. Maybe people are expecting a little too much from a £90 spring setup.

A quick pic' of my pikey wash.

First wash of the year and first for about three months. Proper pikey products were used. Process was: Rinse with the jet wash, soaked in a mix of 1 part gunk to 4 parts cheapo wash and wax (£5.00 for 5l tat), wheels soaked in Tesco equivalent of Fairy Power Spray, arches soaked in Cif...

    Apex 182 opinions

The only way the standard springs were better than my Apex is in the ride department, other than that, they are a significant improvement.

    Apex 182 opinions

Best 'looking' drop. The ride is harsh but I don't find it an issue. Turn in is fantastic. I would have to have a serious drive of an Eibach equipped car before deciding to change and there would need to be a marked improvement over the already good Apex.

    rite sum updated pics!

Lovely colour. That would look great CC'd.

    I've got her a clio

I do love a project like this. Every car I have had prior to the 172 has been a write off. I'd bin that door though. I think you will struggle to straighten out the door frame. 172 back bumper is the same, just CC'd. Front would need wings and skirts so would raise costs.

What do you think of these

I don't understand how these can possibly work without being hard wired into the ECU somewhere. A tad cheaper: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GTECH-Performance-Meter-Pro-0-60-1-4-Mile-Modified-NEW_W0QQitemZ140079031712QQihZ004QQcategoryZ122140QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

what do you think to these lights

Thet truely are atrocious. That picture is like a sliding scale of Clio looks. What not do, what to do and what to aim for.

Anyone tried Cif Bathroom Mousse on springs, arches etc?

Used it on my wheels, didn't think that much of it. I like the thought of the foaming action though with the Cif.

Anyone tried Cif Bathroom Mousse on springs, arches etc?

Just a thought really. I'll probably get flamed for it. Given that it is difficult to get in to really scrub these areas with the Apex fitted, would a coat of this stuff left to soak do any good?

Urgent help please...best insurance company for 182's!

That seems a bit steep mate. I pay £697 with Flux, all mods declared, 24, 4 years NCB, 0 points. Although i'm not sure how much they charge for the protection, Euro cover or 9 points LOL. That is in Garforth BTW.
