Does it get mega hot on the gauge when driving normally ? Do you ever drive over 2500RPM ? Go for a nice long drive .. half hour or so. After 15 mins, make sure it's driven properly... use all the revs (legal speeds, obviously...)... get it properly warm (keeping an eye on the temp gauge...

As mentioned... OEM head units are awful. Standard speakers are fine once they've had the low freq's cut. Sub + fronts = perfect setup in a Clio. Back speakers are almost pointless. Take them out and set the fade to the front. Do you ever have people in the back ? Would they even notice...

If it didn't leave the factory with it.. it's not standard, is it ? If you replace a blown 1.4 with another 1.4, it's no different to replacing the battery for example. Sports are SO cheap now, what's the point ?! Insurance will be more than for a sport, it'll cost you a fortune to do...
