Thanks for your reply!. well ive checked the tyres. Plenty of tread left, both inflated ok.Had my rear bearings changed bout 8,000 miles ago. So cud b shocks or bearings then. Cars going in to have a driveshaft fitted next week so will get em to have a look!.Ta Fred

As above when i go round corners i can feel the back end sliding. Was fine wen i went to work this mornin but all this afternoon have had to slow right down on the corners, as i have to keep correcting the rear!. Not driving any different to wat i normally do jus scared the s**t out of me...
