BIGASH If I wait I'll be without the car for another couple of weeks at least. My hope is they're on the way and arrive today but he's in China now so no way of finding out. They've had various delays so far, the car is up on stands, I haven't been able to use it and I missed a track day on...
Although I use it on track, I'd say I do 10% track driving and 90% road. At the moment my car is 100kg lighter than standard, when I'm done with weight loss it'll be around 940-950kg with me in it and a full tank of fuel.
400lb springs are enough on the front for me, especially with the weight...
Have you tried Konis? I've had both new cup shocks and Konis in conjunction with a complete suspension and steering component overhaul. The Konis offer the better ride and in more ways than just compliance.
It's ecu pin 65.
Btw does anyone know what pin it is for the ph2? I've got a gen90 ecu so I don't have my shift light anymore :( not that I need it but I'd like it working.
They are, but that's one of the downsides in that the bars are close to your head if you had a bump and no helmet.
I'd rather a non-dash dodger so the bars follow the frame of the car.
I don't want a dash dodger though, I want something that fits nice and close, the SD one is designed around the interior so I'd have to have it out of the car and store it somewhere. Then refit it when I need it.
If I get the CC Club cage then I can leave it in and just bolt the rear stays in...
That's good. I'm going to be getting a custom cages club cage (the main and front hoop) then make some removable rear stays and door bars.
How does it fit down the b pillar and the two hoops? Is there room to keep the headlining? And if the seatbelt mounting points are spaced out I could keep...
The corrosion protection on the Bilstein and H&R is pretty good.
They are a quality product if your not fussed about damping adjustment and just want a nice firm ride that isn't crashy.
No problem!
Try the Torques shop on eBay, they have a lot of adapters.
Good stuff! I only asked as I thought I saw the car in your avatar at Oulton in the trackday trophy.
When fitting a roll cage which goes behind the dash do you lose anything like vents, tweeters etc. and is there anything that needs relocating such as wiring or fuse boxes?
