looks very nice
If those mods are what you have planned, it should turn out very nice indeed!
I stuck my turbines on today, they really do look good on the mk1s
I also use a d50 to take my shots, bloody awesome camera. (i don't actually own one, just borrow a few from mates ;))

Been hanging round my home county (herts), but is on its way south (to the continent)
Going to monaco iirc, will be there by now ;)
being that i attend University in Exeter, i thought it a travesty that I hadn't been for a 'spirited' drive over dartmoor.
So, today (well, yesterday now) I went:
mud from when a Fiat camper van effectivly pushed me off the road :(
look at that front panel alignment! going to sort that out...
well, i've primed the first one in white.
its already showing all the dust, marks etc...
So i think it would just be easier to paint them dark grey again (black looks too much like steelies)
Also, if anyone has seen the inside of a turbine, they will know how fiddly it is. so much so that i...
hehe, but i'm currently running some steelies w/ no hubcaps.. looks dire
don't think i could cope with the resemblence tbh.
will do a photoshop of anthacite now, hard colour to do
no idea how to make the lip polished
:edit: comes at very similar to original
Been spending ages stripping my turbines for a refurb and now the time has come to actually paint them
was wondering on colours. after seeing Remedis pics of his white ones, the look good, but dont know if they suit the colour of my car
i've done a photoshop, opinions?

Planned
So far:
colour coded mirrors. colour coded bumpers (like original rt, inc fogs) 16v spoiler, ph1 grill, turbines.
need to lower it slightly, de-tango the side repeaters and get the engine sorted. needs a new manifold and...
Got myself a set of turbines and they need a refurb.
there are no kurbing marks, just the lacquer is peeling and the paint is bubbling.
I can sand down the face of the wheel no problems but im unsure how to do the 'turbine' bits as they are quite small.
I have a dremel and bought a...
he said he wanted interesting colours :p
and its not your common of the garden variety 3dr either ;)
Taken using a nikon d50, fullres/other shots available
nice :) have you got a bigger pic of it?
Just started refurbing the turbines, so back to 165/65/14 steelies :(
sanding the holes in the turbines is proving impossible. almost done 1 wheel, but not looking forward to doing another 3! might go and buy a dremel :p
that is *very* convenient to know!
woulnd't have thought they would. my brother used to have an x-reg almera and needed a new bonnet. it didnt fit in the back. had to get roof racks in the end!
i'm even more tempted to get a 16v bonnet now! it *is* a 1.8 after all ;)
loving it ollie! thats the plan :)
its been in a front end accident (can tell from the engine bay - replaced (newer) parts), so im guessing thats whoever repaired it just put standard bumpers on. You can also see my bonnet is mis-aligned slightly. and its starting to rust inside. might just...
