Got a a dent in my bootlid :( (it was there when i bought the car)
Best pic i have of it, sorry
As it has hit the fold in the metal, is it possible to repair it?
Went down to helston yesterday to see my brother for my birthday...
Had a set of mounts in my boot, so decided to change them ;)
and where better to work
them things are huge!
wont bore you with pics of the actual mount changing
but will show you one of our ghetto...
hehe, the clutch in that think so so light, was hard to find the biting point. buts its diesel, do you dont really have to!
makes a change from my stupidly heavy clutch
yeh, its usually due to the crap compression by the provider. you really do notice it more on larger screens
As said, hi def is the way to go
After playing back a few hi def things through mine i was thoroughly impressed. you really do get a crisp image
this one moves a lot :(
also, if u accelerate hard, you can feel the engine jerking back.. same when lifting off
I suppose having this problem on a first car teaches you how to drive super smoothly ;)
:edit: i say smoothly.. i have somehow broken one of my ARBs :p
Quick price check..
renault want £137 inc vat
ECP want £101 inc vat
GSF don't even do them!
Do these prices seem right? they seem very expensive to me!
The whole engine moves lots, can really feel it jerk when driving (have to be super smooth!)
How much are the mounts from renault? i've got the crane booked for the 17-18th, is this enough time for renault to order the parts..
damn, shoulndt leave things so late! go my passport to do too...
My engine mounts have go (knew that when i bought the car)
Im getting them swapped next weekend, but was wondering exactly what i need.
Do i just need a set of engine mounts (from GSF/ECP) or do i need any other mounts too (like gearbox?)
Hopefully new mounts will also stop me gear...
I always thought irish insurance went *mainly* by engine size so the valver is the same (well, a little less technically - 1794 against 1764?) have you actually tried for a quote?
Personally, i'd say go for the RSI if you can
Halfords 'effort'
Auto-paints effort
don't worry, turbines have been fitted now ;)
halfords excuse was that my car had just faded over the years. I still got my money back.
Ordered about 10 cans from autopaint now, always spot on, even if sometimes the nozzles on the can are fooked...
