Also worth noting that the first few payments pay off the interest so in the event that you do settle early the finance company don't lose out ;).

I was paying around 1k at 20 on my 200(1 year ncb and a few accidents on record). Pay around £440 now on my Leon @ 21 with 2 years ncb.
750 seems not too bad!
I've done this on several occasions. They just issue a refund for the time the policy was inactive.
If they tell you they can't then tell them to check again ;)
