Got a MBP here - 2.2 i7, 8GB ram, 7200rpm 750gb hdd.
It is dropping 1% a minute whilst running on the battery. Is this normal?
It has been away twice now, first time it got a new battery this time it got a new logic board.
Are there any known issues with these or have any of you guys...
Experienced this on my iMac at work a few months ago. Was not long out the box though.
As Tom mentioned the ram could be an issue as mines would just refused to boot one morning and was beeping loudly untill I reseated the ram.
Weird.
I pay upfront and any time I've changed vehicle then they just add or subtract the difference from the card.
Depending on the company you might get a refund but some can charge % or a fee to withdraw - why not give them a call and ask?
What are going going from and whats the new car?
Re: Parallels
Anything less than £250 will be fake and is a waste of time when the long coding isn't up to date and won't load the correct info for your vehicle.
It will also fry the cable if you connect to the internet and it's plugged in ;)
Re: Parallels
Used to run XP and Windows 7 on Parallels on my work iMac at the same time and never had a problem with speed. Had spaces set up with each one in a different window so took 2 seconds to switch between them.
You're doing it wrong.
Put iTunes config files in same folder as all the music then point iTunes to that directory.
There's a guide on the Apple site on how to load iTunes from a different library location.
You don't need to do it via a campus connection and you don't need any student details.
That link that dave posted will be fine.
They don't give a fk, it's either covered or it's not.
