call me stupid, but i have a tube of no nails lying around. im fitting a laguna splitter soon and thought maybe i could use that? either that... or i could use the no nails to temporarily stick it on, and then i can use self tapping screws to be safe?

its at around 1500 rpm when cold but when warm settles at 1000. the only problem with idling is the knocking its doing

thats a total pain in the ass if i have to do that. lol

when i start my car, the engine knocks/vibrates quite strongly. seems to be especially when the engine is cold. im no expert when it comes to engines. any ideas what it could be?

i think it would be alot easier to remove my front bumper to fit the splitter i have. (drilling holes etc..) anyway, is it fairly straight forward? how do i do it and where do i start?

nevermind, i just want to know if cutting the excess with a stanley at either end is fine

when i say cut the ends off, i mean the rubber on the splitter where its too long. rather than cutting it in the middle.

i bought self tapping screws today to fit a laguna splitter to my rt. do i need to drill pilot holes? im worried about screwing them in and cracking the bumper.. also, i need to cut the ends off. should i just use a stanley and sand down so its smooth?

noticed today something sounds and feels like its knocking when i start my car up from cold at 1500rpm. it seems fine once the engine warms up and the car settles idling at 1000. any ideas? im no mechanical genius
