no nails on a splitter?

Car  MK2 PH2 & E46 330
call me stupid, but i have a tube of no nails lying around. im fitting a laguna splitter soon and thought maybe i could use that?

either that... or i could use the no nails to temporarily stick it on, and then i can use self tapping screws to be safe?

if you need to use anything to support it i would use masking or electrical tape. Better if you get a second person to help you though imo

I used no more nails to hold down a plant pot outside my house. its that strong. using it on your splitter/bumper is a no go...

No matey, when i fitted mine to the escort, I implemented the following:

Take off bumper
Turn it upside down
Mark the splitter exactly in the middle, and mark the bumper
Line them up
Use masking tape to hold it in place (for 5 mins)
check all is well
Then start to self tapper in (a small drille piece to allow the self tapper to dig in.

alot of splitters have screws and staples in, could use a strong staple gun but it wont be as easy to remove then

I used it on the bumpstrip on the front right wing of an 11 Turbo I used to own. Was fine for a bit. But the first time it rained...... thing slid off. Obviously the stuff I used wasn't weatherproof.
