depends what model you have. on my RT there are existing speakers in the boot at either side of the parcel shelf. i just used them for 6x9s. no problems
theres a program on called "wrecks to riches" where they buy cat D's and repair them. works out cheaper and the cars just as good as new. as long as its a professional job i dont see a problem
too late. ive fitted the ph3 one (it was the right colour).
saves spending ages sanding the inside down and spraying that when i only need to get this done and the outer sprayed that way.
im needing a tailgate and back-panel resprayed. and im buying the paint.
its just one side of the tailgate though.
is 1 litre of paint enough? im buying from autopaint.co.uk because ive been told they are generally the best and cheapest.
ill have another look with that in mind. it seems theres just no mount where the exhaust hangs low. its always been like that. maybe just a thing with mk1s?
got a tailgate fairly cheap today. only problem being there was a brakelight in it. which i didnt want.
whats the best way to do this?
welding on a sheet of steel then filler?
using fiber-glass strips then filler?
anything else?
my exhaust hangs a bit low. its a bit annoying.
ive had garages look at it then rehang it while they did other work. but it looks all the same to me. the only thing thats new are the hanging points.

im changing the rear window and fitting it into a new tailgate tomorrow. ive done it before with a ruler. which wasnt too hard. but is there an easier way when removing it?
i was thinking take the glass out first, then re-fit the rubber seal.
also, when putting the glass into the new frame...
