Nothing beats going to the cinema to watch a new film on a huge screen with a box of popcorn and a bucket of fizzy beverage. I'd rather make use of Orange Wednesdays and spend £8 or so on a couple of cinema tickets and watch a film in awesome quality with awesome sound than download a s**tty...
The 1*2 has more torque at lower revs too, so you don't need to rev the engine quite as much to speed up slightly.
Plus it's a more modern engine. Advancements are made in engine design and fuel economy all the time, so things like VVT, inlet design, gearing, the cam profile and the ECU map will...
My 106 GTi was worse on fuel than my 172 was when it was still standard.
That wasn't to say the 106 was bad on fuel, it wasn't.
The 106 did seem to over-fuel slightly though. When I fitted the Raceland manifold and Pugsport straight through exhaust with the integrated de-cat it stunk of petrol...
Cool. I don't have a lot of experience with it but some of our customers have used it in the past. All I've done is set up the associated MX records and the smart host on customers' mail servers and I haven't really played with the clever side of the service. Might be worth looking into because...
Of those, I'd say Postini is the best.
Google took Postini over a few years ago and since then the Google Mail junk email filter uses the same technology. It's very intelligent. If you configure everything correctly and report anything that gets through, it quickly learns patterns and trends as...

I think that's it. They're the ones I've had experience of at some point.
Excellent choice of car. I've said it before and I'll say it again, there aren't many cars you can have quite so much fun in, especially in this price range.
As long as it doesn't keep breaking, it'll be VERY cheap to run as well.
The closest thing I have to a proper accelleration video. It's filmed on the rollers but it does actually pick up this quickly on a dry road too :D. Will try to do a proper one when the weather improves.

AFAIK, in older gearboxes you couldn't go straight from one gear to another because they had a constant mesh. The synchromesh was designed to work around this problem and make operating a transmission simpler.
When you balls up a gear change and you hear a grinding noise, that's not actually...
Yes and no.
The RAID array will probably be broken and the data all but lost, but there'll be nothing stopping you from rebuilding the array and using it again (as if starting from scratch).
RAID 5 arrays usually take a while to build and synchronise though.
Assuming you've connected it correctly as above, see here:

or rather here:

Also as above, if you install a protocol...
I just left it on all the time and turned it off when I felt like "exploring the grip levels".
I no longer have it and TBH it doesn't make a huge amount of difference, especially during normal day to day driving.
Diesel = the fuel of Satan.
Turbo diesel = polishing a turd
Petrol turbo = full of win
Although if I'm honest, a lot of modern turbo diesels are very nice to drive. I went out in an 08 plate 320d pool car not long ago and it was the nicest, most civilised car I've driven for ages. Not very...
That's exactly what I want to do Steve. Silver Turini's on my Iceberg. Although it's not a cup and I'm not trying to turn it into one, I just think it'd look sweet.
I want to go against the trend and keep them silver because I honestly think it's the best colour to go with Iceberg.

If you're connecting them together with an ethernet cable and no hub / switch in between, you'll need to make sure it's a crossover cable.
Both will need to have an IP address on the same range, although if they're configured dynamically they should just pick up an APIPA and work.
You'll need to...
And me. It's kept under a cover on somebody's driveway at the top of Heanor Hill. You'll occasionally see it wallowing about in mid-summer.
EDIT: Or Tupac in a random US car park. ;)

I really need to do this to my headlights.
They're not too bad actually, so I think I'd get a near perfect finish to them if I did the job right.
Has anyone done a guide?
Possibly the lambda sensor then. It could be over-fuelling as a result maybe?
I'm sure someone who knows more about this sort of thing than I do will be along to comment soon enough. :)
The 1*2's do have limp mode. Mine went into it soon after I brought it. Turns out it was a knackered lambda sensor which was replaced under warranty by the stealer the same day. There are a lot of other reasons it can happen though.
As for the Airbag & SERV lights - it'll definitely be the...
Re: One Year on & £**** spent
I presume you're going to remove the air con compressor and get the cup alternator / aux belt setup as well? The compressors are very heavy. I picked the one up in K-Tec's reception and was shocked at how heavy it is - much more so than the one from my old 306.
