I'm rapidly falling out with mine... It's having major stability issues at the moment with stock clocks, and when I bung all the stuff on a Striker II Formula I have no issues at all...
Bad overclocking board etc., and wireless never had a huge following of 64-bit drivers. See other thread though, there's plenty out there. 4Gb memory was a bit of a stupid mistake on Microsoft's part, but there's a fix out there and it'll be in SP1 installs...
Typical quote from someone who's evidently not spent any time with it.
Vista is easily as quick as XP SP2 on my machine... And the benefits far outweigh the 'downside' of having to re-learn where everything is.
And you'll never guess what, the only instability problem I have is a motherboard...
17", and it's just the one I've got lying around that I haul out when I need to build a machine.
Currently running on a healthy 2407WFP here in it's long term house... Although the fact you thought it was a 15" probably highlights just how mahoosive this thing is!
And yes, it'll run all day without fans in it with the side on it and only just get to 75 degrees CPU/GPU running Crysis on stock clocks... With the clocks above and fans installed running at 800rpm (silent) I keep a constant 40 degrees idle, 50 degrees heavily loaded on both CPU and GPU...
If you're only occasionally HD gaming and your TV uses component, I'd stick with the Premium. If you prefer the colour of the Elite and think you'll be downloading lots then the Elite is possibly worth the extra - I'm usually on mine though and I've still got the 1st Gen Premium with 20Gb...
If you have the full size of:

I'd love it please - if you've got it in RAW format even better but JPEG/TIFF is fine!
Thanks,
Mike
Yeah, you don't want one without the amplifier though because you'll get a much darker/fuzzier picture on the screens. Also be aware you want to try and keep the lead from the distamp to the sky box as far away from any power source or other interference as possible as the amplifier will make...
Truesay - I think the way things are going in this day and age we are going to end up using that pretty quick - I'd forgotten about the iTunes HD content...
Note I said that 99% of people are probably doing something illegal anyway.
Granted not all the time etc., but c'mon, the majority of people who download an excessive amount of data in that period of time will be distributing media...
Why?
I'm saying about them whinging about them not being able to do something which is illegal - so where does driving down the overtaking lane at 70mph fall into illegal (inconsiderate, yes, illegal, no)
Or am I confusing myself?
True. Right back to my old 3230 they were awful, and they still suffer the same bugs a million generations on... It's awful. My k750i never crashes, my w880i would look confused if you mentioned 'hang' and I have a strong feeling my new w910i will be similar...
Nokia, go back to making...
Sounds fair to me. Not least of which 99% of that 3% will be downloading or uploading illegally anyway!
"Hi, I'm trying to illegally share music and pornographic materials using the broadband service I pay you for, but I'm getting slow speeds between 4pm and 9pm"
Operator hangs up.
It's...
I'd avoid the N-series like the plague. Everyone who I speak to at T-Mobile and Vodafone Premier say that they're a huge amount of trouble because they can't get the software right.
Personal opinion is they're worse than Microsoft... N-series phones go out with bugs that wouldn't get as far...
Just to add, I'll be adding my second GTX when I can find an acetal Danger Den block in stock for less than £80 and get my Eheim 1000 to replace my 600, as it's getting close to it's limits. That should see me hit closer to 70fps in Crysis, or around 50 on 16xAA.
45fps on high/8xAA using a single GTX clocked to 650/2300, Q6600 at 4.2Ghz/1.45v running from a 4-disk RAID5 array with actual throughput of 1.1 GigaBYTES a second (not gigabit!) with 4gb 1333 OCZ memory running at 5-5-5-15/2.4v.
And on FSX Acceleration / DX10 mode I see peaks of around 70fps...
Even programs that have been around pre-Vista don't have problems running - I use Jasc PaintShopPro 9 for quick image editing as it loads quicker than the later Corel versions and Photoshop, and it just turns off all the pretty stuff and turns it back on when you close it - that's the biggest...
