How can you say that for certain? Did you construct it?
Just because the FAA have issued a request for it doesn't mean it's actually a fault - it could be that as it's an undocumented area of technology within the airline industry that they just need it's security and stability demonstrating...
Actually, just about every network is phsically connected to every other network via this massive thing called the Internet. It's all to do with getting your firewalls right and tbh that's easy from a corporate point of view. Keep the two sides on different subnets and only put in the rules...
There's only limited information in there so how you can make a sweeping statement such as that is beyond me. The FAA may only be concerned with one aspect of it's use, and it may not be as significant as the article makes out.
We all know how much news can be very over the top and exaggerated.
Cowboy!
Don't do anything of the sort. What happens when you try to delete it, do you get any messages of any sort? Remember as an Administrator on Vista you're still not an Administrator... :S
What is it with you Linux trolls? It's not a bad OS but it's far from being ready for most people's homes. My gran can reinstall Windows on a computer and put software on it, but having installed a few distros of Linux it's just a way off being as 'slick' as Windows is. I know MS aren't the...
I've not even finished yet +you're running a Dell system. You will get walked on!
And as for laptop here's some clues:
From OP:
Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T5450 - T5-series (as with T7-series) are Mobile processors.
Keyboard Internal Keyboard - UK/Irish (QWERTY) - I don't know of a desktop...
Because that's a desktop. Butt out.
And you were robbed. I built a machine with an o/c'd GTX running faster than most Ultras, Q6600 at 3.6Ghz and around 4Tb storage on 2 arrays for £1200...
They're not comparable.
Actually, you bought a Renault knowing (or not knowing) that the dashboard lights on them can pick and choose whether to come on or not, a fault Renault are aware of but cannot fix as yet.
They haven't stopped making the cars...
I too feel double standards. Good dealer or not it's still a...
No because you've had to ask. A Vee is one of those things where you either say "b****cks I'm getting one" and be happy or you'll be fed up of it before long if you half-think you want one...
Several dead pixels?
Lol. May be a bad connection in the top of the screen or wherever the input signal for the panel goes. Either way I'd get a proper man to fix it, as there can't be many LCDs outside of warranty.
I dislike Acers - we use Dell at work and they're alright, but I've got a Sony SZ2 and it's still great.
Core2 does make a big difference to end users... Huge amounts quicker and better on battery.
Thermal shutdown, 99.9% certain.
*Edit* - just seen your post. It'll be an AMD then? As Intel's scale down and I've had my Core2 running for a day with no heatblock on it at all... It just goes a bit slow.
^ That's the old Nak I had, was an astounding bit of kit. Had the 24-bit breakout too which made an enormous difference. Best near-4 figure sum I ever spent on a car stereo. Coupled with my JL W6 and XRs there was nothing like it.
