the high amp alpines have a battery live for a very good reason as it has a big current draw. You need to wire it to the battery, its really really easy though!

duckeatsport best explanation of a clipped signal i ahve see on a forum :) Power ratings dont mean that much, you can send a clipped signal using no power and it will damage voice coils. It is all about how you set up the gains and without using a scope you can never be sure of not clipping...

it is held on by glue in several positions, I used a butter knife to ease it off in places its very hard to do and keep the material in good condition. takes ages to do each one carefully, I say you oculdrip it completley off easily but ruin the material.
