no you cant and the only benefit is that it will allow you to watch hd-dvd's on your pc and back them up cough ;)

erm not sure what you mean but you can connect up the hd-dvd drive via its usb cable to a pc and istall the udf 2.5 driver then read what ever is on the disk you then need some decoding software to decode the movie streams

storage capacity really and cost !!! also in more depth the codecs that are used and the bitrates but that means nothing to your average joe

yes it does so crikey hd dvd on a pc for a lot lot less than a blueray drive !!! kiss my chuddies sony you bunch of corporate wanker scum :P
