yes the dev kits were very noisy all the reports i have read have said its whisper quiet and doesnt get hot. tbh i will beleive it when i see it as no console has ever been silent since the 16bit days

aparantly the ps3 is almost silent ! anyway the hd dvd drive for the 360 is supposed to be very quiet much quieter than the dvd drive

they are all a bit small unless your going to be sat less than about 4 ft away
