I was under the impression that it is the switch to over ride the cruise control that was suppose to be fitted to newer MK2 172s, but the switch comes on all of them. For example, youd have your cruise control set to 50mph and if you wanted to accelerate, you would push the accelerator right...

There were 2 355s at Santa Pod on Sunday. I think the drivers were sh*t as one of them kept getting 14s & 15s!!!! Rhys

The download works fine for me....temporary glitch maybe? I thought the Cup driver was doing okay. 15.15 is a good time and he did a 14.97 which is, erm.....even better! The normal 172 was only getting 15.8s Rhys

Went down with Craggy in his VTS. Other Clios there included a silver MK2 172, a Cup, a 16ver (didnt see it do any runs though) and an RSi. There was also a CTR there. As for the times.....until the point that we left: 172 MK2 - lots of times at around 15.8 and a 15.6 172 Cup - 14.97...

The real question is, does the MK2 GirlRacer have different gearing and ECU to the MK1? And which is faster? Oh, sorry.....got a bit confused for a moment then.... :oops:

The guy on this forum with the "Jap style" clio 16v has got is sprayed in a Subaru blue I think. The colour looks absolutely brilliant and suits the 16ver down to the ground. Rhys

Give Hillpower a call. Their de-cat pipe is about £75 but there is a very generous Cliosport discount (takes it to about £50)....dont know if it is silenced though. Also the one above doesnt include VAT or shipping... Rhys
