Just spotted the following in the small print of the Leon Cupra-R advert: "The maximum power outputs are quoted in PS (or Pferdestarke, which is the metric equivelant of horsepower). To convert from metric to imperial horsepower, divide the PS figure by 1.0139" Ive seen PS mentioned on here...

I absolutely slaughtered a G40 in Attercliffe, Sheffield in my 172. Stopped to chat to the bloke too who was really into his car. Even so, my down on power 172 completely and comprehensively beat that G40, so there ;):D edit - "0-60 6.9secs" not from what I saw! 0-60 in 8.1 and 113bhp...

I was given 10500 or so for my "imported" (contemptuous quote marks, btw!) 172, having paid around 12200 for it. Had 12000 on the clock. Got an offer as low as 9500 from Reg "Feckwit" Vardys. Rhys

Found some site offering brand new VW Lupos with a 2.8 V6 engine conversion for £13000. Thats got to go like stink.....!
