Not entirely, as it has enabled me to dump my entire 45gb music collection onto one disc, rather than having to borrow work's DLT drive again or using 10 DVDs!
I got a Blu-Ray drive in my mediapc, otherwise yes I would consider it on that merit... Although that does take a little out of my sails for 'it's too expensive' as the drive cost me £500.... But it's a recorder so that's alright!! :)
Your tellys are all crap.
What you want is your living room wall to be perfectly flat, persuade the wife you want a white and black theme in the room and get a HD Projector!
Imagine how big a wall-sized gash would be!!
I have the misfortune of having been on call last night, so will be fairly grumpy as the two phone calls I got (which are supposed to be complete outages only!) are one for some twit who couldn't log in to their phone and someone who couldn't remember how to refresh an application set...
Because I don't want to move in with one of my mates, and I'm single. I'm not living on my own!! I've only come across moneysponges, headcases and trollops and I think I'm going to go looking in Nottingham or Birmingham soon, cos I think that sums Derby up!
Because I've got an Audi A4 for a company car, and I wanted something which was my own because a) the A4 isn't particularly fun to drive and b) isn't really mine, it's the companys, and I've got a motorbike, and that's more than enough motoring for me at the time being. I wanted something small...
We're talking about spinning, and people's opinions in this thread?
A forum is an open discussion forum, you say not spinning, ok, back steps out a little - you weren't going quite-so-too-fast as I said above, and you weren't quite as careless as I implied, but you're driving beyond the...
There's only one thing to consider and that's that I've seen a Porker have to go for a respray because it's reacted with a cheap car cover.
And to the eejits that think they're for supercars only - get real! And an education. I kept my Smart Roadster under a cover in the garage because if it...
I want to marry him! My hero!
And no, the best way to kill your old tyres is to hand them over to the tyre place to flog on for someone's rubber flooring. To do something like that in anything other than a secluded area which is closed to anyone else is irresponsible and I think should be...
No no, I think you are right in the first instance. A, if you're getting understeer then you're pushing too hard, B, if you're getting oversteer in an FWD car you're badly compensating for driving like a numpty.
In 50,000 miles, I spun my RWD car ONCE and I hold my hands up and admit that 3/4...
I have to say, are you completely incompetent?
Ok, everyone who pushes their car to the limit finds that limit, and usually if it's after recently getting a new one it tends to be a hop, skip and a jump over that limit, but 5 times? Do you lick windows?
I'd even be so courteous to let you...
The Vee is fairly lardy anyway - a good 182/172 won't be far behind until it gets really hard on a track. I'd personally look for an R32 as a road car, you soon get bored of losing all practicality.
Here's an interesting proposition as well - try getting a smaller, slower RWD car as a...
I've got TomTom for my PDA - not bad bit of kit and if I'm honest suits me better than carrying a seperate box around - because my PDA is my phone as well!
Can you put HDCP over DVI? I haven't watched that side of things closely. Both ATI and nVidia do 7600/X1600 sort of offerings with HDMI ports on, these are a good idea IMO.
I'd try go with a laptop chip - you don't need a huge amount of processing power (or the 2gb of memory whoever suggested...
The Wii's main appeal is to people who don't enjoy current console games. If you enjoy current games, then the XBox will hammer the Wii technically and this, ultimately, wins the war of the consoles.
I think PS3 will do well, when they stop trying to charge PC money for it - let's be fair if...
Leaving a motor running (petrol) for any length of time on idle causes excessive wear...
Do it in a garage, I've got a dehumidifier and a seperate heating system to the house in mine! :p
You got anything more descriptive than shite?? Lol sorry mate, but I'm getting one of the two soon, so want to know exactly what their plus n negative is!
Thanks,
Mike
I like COD3, I only just finished it and had it a month and a bit! Also like Ghost Recon - Advanced Warfighter, just finished that one as well! Good fun. PGR3 is only really any fun as two player I think, and it's fairly unstable - if you set up a race with loads of AI, then sign in the...
I hope they've sorted out their hunger for power - I lose 10-15fps in FSX on Vista RC1 as opposed to XP... (Microsoft take weeks to send us the latest updates for it!!)
It's possible that there is an issue with the uPnP side of things in Vista or on your Router. I know my Zoom X-4 hates uPnP...
Plasma surpasses LCD in every way bar one - you can burn an image onto a Plasma screen. Blacks are infinitely better on Plasma screens than on LCDs, however LCDs are cheaper because of the panels. Hi res Plasma panels cost an absolute fortune - the cheapest 1920x1080 Plasma screen is £5k.
There's nearly 200 servers in there, and 50 switches. It makes enough racket that if you open the floor box at the other end of the building, you can hear the whine of the fans.
I've got:
A £2 PC World toolkit off their bargain shelf, with all the torx bits that Compaq and HP like to annoy us with.
Win XP MVL disk
Dell WinXP and 2000 disks
Win 2000 Pro, Server and AS.
Citrix Metaframe 4 installation disks
Command and Conquer First Decade
PC Check CD
