It was awful! I can count the number of people I know have one on one hand... and it's a similar number to the number of people I know who DON'T have either an X-Box or Playstation of some form!
2 hours every weekend with Autoglym Paintwork Restorer (pink stuff!)
Just goes to show how pants the tool was, because that paintwork restorer is harsh stuff!
They do, but it took using one every weekend of a year's ownership of my first car to get anything that's even close to one weekend's work with my PC.
Don't expect it to work miracles though, not like the PC!
Agreed, Microsoft does have difficulties with various things (including taking up 99% of a gig of RAM playing FSX) but then Linux doesn't support half the hardware in my machines, and doesn't have any games (crucial for the long nights at work).
And as for comments of lying about no problems...
But the price Renault want you to buy them at is the price we should be comparing - you can get allsorts (including sex) online for varying degrees of discount, but then I'm almost certain that was similar for the 182. The price to compare cars is it's list, then you work out whether it's any...
That's a load of horsecrap. I use my XP laptop 16 hours a day (without reboot, I turn it off to take it home half way through though) and I have a Windows 2000 desktop at work which hasn't been restarted in 2 years, and I look after nearly 250 Windows 2000 Server and Advanced Server boxes and...
Not just the MS way though is it?
Everyone's quick to jump on the 'its s**t' bandwagon, but nobody as yet has made an x86 OS that supports as much as it does. It's all good and well saying 'Get Linux, get Linux, it's better' but alot of hardware manufacturers don't release drivers officially...
Not stupid high, but these chavs must be getting richer! Back in my day the chavs drove the 3k 1.4 Westcoasts which they put Cituning badges over the Westcoast badge and told their mates it was the VTR...
But hey ho, apparently I'm a chav because I own a Bench t-shirt, and my argument that it...
I test drove one when I considered my current 182, and all I can say is while it felt planted and fairly quick, the interior wasn't luxurious and for me, I like to spend time in my car - leather is a must, not least of which it wears better, and all of the driver aids like the improved lights...
What are we talking about here though - Renault Clio Sports or the RenaultSport Clios? Because there's a significant difference and I think it's the former that's got the Chavs in at the moment - the latter is too expensive and too hard to insure for someone that's written off a Nova and a Saxo...
You'll have fun, put that way. There's a couple of good guides in M$ KB and on Technet. Still not got mine working because my Exchange server's broke at home.
However if they've redesigned the whole front end, chances are there's a new fitting for it. My idea (as I'm sure many other people's are) is that a stuffed 197 donates it's brake calipers a whole lot cheaper than Brembo donate their 172/182 specific kit. I don't believe in making brackets...
Aye, and it's a shame it now sports a 5-stud fitment because it means more development has gone into the suspension setup etc. than I'd originally hoped (182/172 drivers, don't tell me you haven't wondered how hard it is to get 197 Brembos on there!!!)
Agreed, I test drove a 350Z not too long ago and the only reason I went for the Clio over it was because I needed a boot and back seats now. The Z hangs it's tail out nicely while being controllable, you don't have to throw it in the bush because it squeaked.
I remember scaring the life out...
Because nobody over here cleans their car to the extent that the Yanks do - the weather is shite in comparison, we get hosepipe bans whenever the tide goes out and the government believe that they need to make a second surface of salt on the roads to prevent ice, rather than realising it's their...
I've never had a problem with them doing anything random, but 9 times out of 10 I've got them switched on anyway - aids in being visible and you've got the upper hand when someone says 'I didn't see you'. Plus they're xenons, they're a shedload better than the standard candlelight jobbies. Not...
And even then, my parents prefer my car over any of the new shape Clios, but know that I'd lynch them buying the same one - they say the 197's interioris tackier and less comfortable, and the engine is more hard work cos they've gone in search of penis-enlarging numbers instead of out-and-out...
Still waiting for mine which I ordered on the 3rd, but top marks to Autopia - I contacted them about it who immediately sent me the ParcelFuckup tracking number, who have had it and sat on it since the 5th. I could slap them idiots! They screwed up my Cleanandshiny delivery as well! Who now...
