Assuming they are the standard 50mm spacers but at an angle of 22.5° that makes the bottom part 30mm.
So with 60mm standard trumpets on the DTH kit you will end up with 110-90mm trumpets (100mm nominal). And you won't need to change the air filter. Assuming you have space of course.
It's a Golf DTH setup Morgan. The trumpets are 120mm.
I don't, but you could work it out as the angle is 22.5°.
I asked Jenvey how much they space the trumpets out but they weren't much use.
Yes. I also asked what the angle of the bodies is but they didn't know. I measured the angle of the head inlet face and that's at 10 degrees, so I assume they will be inline with that.
It's making me lean towards the SF setup, I wonder if 150mm trumpets would fit?!
Jenvey make 110mm long 40 degree angled trumpets.
Or you could make some angled spacers.
I love how ktec told me that 90mm would fit on the DTH bodies with just a shorter rad and shallower filter. And that 120 would fit with a bit of bonnet cutting......
I wouldn't mind having a go with a RS2 inlet on mine.
I've got the Piper cams with headwork and 182 manifold. It makes 184bhp and 173lbft on the RS Tuning rollers.
I think with the RS2 and 50mm extensions I could make some more power and extend the torque curve a bit.
But its a big risk when...
Its only in 3 door. Ideally I was looking to replace the ph1 and my wife's Fusion with the new Clio but it's not quite what I want.
Megane 265 cup/trophy would be my 1st choice but that's 3 door only too. Not sure on the Focus ST. Could get the pumaspeed 320bhp/370lbft demo car for the same...
I drove the Clio today with lux and cup packs. It rode very nicely damping and roll control was brilliant. Handling was good although I felt there could have been a bit more feel and less assistance on the steering. I would prefer a mechanical diff to the e-LSD it has but it works reasonably...
I really fancy the new Clio and I'm in a position to get one just after Christmas. But I am wondering whether to wait and see what happens in terms of development with the chassis, engine and transmission. As the review suggests its early days and with all the RS cars there have been...
Looking at getting rid of the wife's car and my Ph1 for one of these.
I know ktec have an exhaust and filter available and an intercooler in the works.
What is there in terms of decats and remaps?
