I'd run ramair filters, I did testing on my 195bhp zetec, it made 197 without filters and 195 with them.

Jenvey do some nice 110mm 40 degree angled trumpets.
And this is in interesting read regarding trumpet angle. http://www.emeraldm3d.com/articles/dec2012/
I would get the Gen90 with the software and take it to my local(ish) mapper who does GEMS. Or I could go to RS Tuning, I took it there last...
After Christmas and our anniversary in Feb I'll be looking into getting the DTH kit from KTec with the Gen90.
I've been umming and ahhing for ages now about what route to take but I love ITBs...
So what are the longest trumpets I can fit on a ph1?
The bonnet catch will be going and a smaller...
It was going well and sounded great. You think it was as fast as the Fiesta? The Clio didn't feel as quick as my old one, but when my passenger is 18 stone it doesn't help!
Re: E36 v2
Very interesting! Didn't realise the inlet/map made that much difference.
After seeing it out on Saturday I'm very impressed. It seems so composed as well.
Re: Ph1 172
Got my studs and spacers on before Oulton and then had the alignment done.
Had a good day at Oulton. Track was dry but there were a good few red flags, I counted 11 but could have been more than that.
Here's a few pics from the day.
So after the day my plan of things...
I had an RS Tuner and sold it. But might get another for something..
Anyway I've already paid for an unlock code. Could I get another RS Tuner and use the unlock code I've got.
As Chip said.
The 421 is on the limits of the standard springs.
For cams bigger than 421 where you need uprated springs, rather than get Cat or Supertech you could fit the 197/200 valve springs as long as they are within the spec required by the cams.
A clean shear failure like that would be a bad spring, possibly a material defect.
I assume they aren't that old. And are specified for use with the cams you have fitted.
I would not be happy with Catcams.
No previous running issues. Used it a couple of weeks ago.
Went to open the car and the battery was to low to open the central locking so had to use the lock on the passenger side, however the alarm LEDs were still flashing.
Got it charged up and now it won't fire.
Turns over fine, can smell...
I've got the AST top mounts on mine. No drilling required (direct fit) and they have camber and caster adjustment.
No difference on the road apart from better feel. Feels tighter, turns in better.
