A valver would batter a GTi in every department.
B0ll0cks!!!!!!! Every department? No way!
How is the 205 better?
Looks, Valver wins hands down IMHO
0-60 = Valver
0-100 =...

not heard of the lighter flywheel and LSD for the Cup/172/182 on these forums ever been mentioned or installed yet i would imagine these are common mods for people wanting better traction for a FWD and some weight saving with the flywheel...
Id put money on a standard for standard, a Valver stuffing a 205 1.6/1.9 on the road and track. There not that much lighter plus the valver looks 100x better.
Im on limited mileage. Pay £750tptf with all mods declared and 5000 miles a year. Thats with elephant, Although they havent actually asked what mileage the car is on so I can do as many as I like!
Age 20 w/ 2 years no claims btw, high risk area apparently.

Basically what Nick said, Theyre ok on petrol if your not hammering it. I get about 70/80 miles to a tenner on average. They do cost quite a bit to run and you need to be prepared to graze your nuckles for ANY job on them, lol
Ive ran a 15.5 @87, Snufty that terminal sounds way too fast for a standard valver!
Anyways, im going for a 15.2, need a few bits sorting first like camber etc
Im not allowing myself a 2ltr till ive matched Craigs time in the 1.8, lol!
Id have the 182 w/ cup packs over an ST all day long, better spec, quicker, better handling etc! and 8.3 is LAME for a car with 150bhp.
The new ibizas are slow too, I toasted one with my lowly 150bhp....
