does anyone know if offset 33 would make a big difference to the handling? the stud pattern and stuff is allright just wondered if the offset matters too much, because its not like its loads different.

no he was right but you've misunderstood it. when a car is registered it is given a regisration plate, if your car wasn't registered until 2000 then it should be an x-reg, (this doesn't mean it should be the new shape), so your car was obviously registered in 1997 as it has a p-plate, but not...
just because you have a big 4x4 doesn't mean you can stop loads better than other cars, they help keep you goin better in shite conditions but don't help you stop loads quicker.
