renaults like to spit flames on overrun, btw helps if you tap the throttle ever so slightly when on over run. Not enough to rev engine, but enough to let a bit of air through. Works a treat :P

rear rubbers on top of strut mounts squeak sometimes

either new discs, pads and bearing at around £100 parts or if discs are ok then bearings at around £10 each from factors

as stated easy job another handy note, dont forget to swop the tiny spacers over. Mine came off with the old bearing and looked like they were apart of the bearing and i nearly forgot

i dont understand the grinding noise or the sparking, sounds more like brake pads to me. When a CV joint goes usually a clunking/banging noise . . . but sparks . . . thats a new one

not sure about ph1 but its a remove airbox job to fill on ph2

get the money off them, buy back your motor and repair it and pocket the extra cash
