My gf hates going anywhere in mine, and my colleagues hate my car, saying it's a Poofs or girl's car. Couldn't give a fook. It's MY car. I've had Saabs, VWs, BMWs loads of cars, I'm keeping the 172 a little longer yet!

i had a punt with a 172 cup on the a55 in the summer. I had a passenger, he didn't. There was nothing in it. They're as close as can be.

the top mount washer issue is a separate issue. My car pulls to the right, so it could well be trackin or tyre scrub.

yeah my tyres, eagle f1s seem to grip like a mofo, but the tread tends to grip the road in an odd way... Hard to explain. Could be that?

checked your c.v. joint? does the sound worsen when on power at full lock in either left or right? some bearing faults are really hard to detect IMO

Older one for £150. I couldn't live without mine. Yeah the battery aint great, but with TomTom (using the internal GPS), good camera, internet radio, wifi and with mini SD cards (2, 4Gb etc) being cheap as chips now I can't think what to replace mine with. And Nokia have frequently ironed out...
