madness, as i was reading christopher's comment he drove past me! Brap brapping... Tesco NLW. It sounds defo like the cam cover. On older cars i've had the cam cover not seal due to it being warped. Rovers FTL! But a new gasket should sort it.
Aye there is, and I bought mine from Maplin. The cheap ones from eBay don't work. I've got a splitter, but you can also use a splitter/switch.
I've just looked and Maplin don't seem to have the one I bought.
Only thing is the two inputs cannot be ON at the same time, cos my amp freaks out...
I had to ring the call centre, I'm on three contract. They kept saying "why don't you want voicemail?", was annoying and WTF has it got to do with them? I hate voicemail and couldn't understand why I couldn't disable/re-enable it myself.
and i was told they couldn't change my bonnet catch until it failed! When i was dead on the side of the m'way i said and walked out. Ren UK sorted it in the end. Funkin knobs. Steer clear of main dealers.
i asked arnold clark to fit me 2 new tyres they had in stock. Said i'd need it done in 45 mins, cos i had to work. Books it in, comes back and says there's no way he could have it done in time! Drove round the back and all the mechanics were doin sweet f.a. I could do it myself in less than 20...
small update: my car was pullin to the right and slipping when turning at slow speeds. I had the trackin done and re-done. Then i realised my n/s/f tyre was worn, so i've rotated the tyres front to back, havin ordered 2 new tyres. Now i have no slipping or pulling to the right!
I've just been to tesco; replaced my bosch aero twin jobbies after a good year or two. Was having trouble in the rain, smearing and shizzle. Tesco only had the cheapo traditional umbrella style, but at £3 a pair I can't complain. Used some vinegar on the windscreen before fitting. Much better...
i'm 6'4" and the biggest prob is the pedals with big feet like others said and lookin at traffic lights when you're sat at them. Craning your neck FTL! Ok in france with their little secondary lights lower down and in view.
i don't wanna hijack the thread, but i've checked every connection, wire brushed and greased them. Car still dies after more than 4 days of not bein used. Sounds like i've the same prob.
ha ha, that shut everyone up. mine doesn't like starting and has done what yours has if it's been left for more than 3 or 4 days. My battery and connections are fine too. Think it's a drain on the battery somewhere...
Excellent thread, and all credit for knuckling down repeatedly. I had a mini at Uni, and although awesome to drive ( four wheel drifts FTW) it proved ENTIRELY unreliable. A mate came to stay and we did loads of jobs together,.. But it just kept breaking and I soon fell out of love.
Hi, can anyone tell me how I convert a video I took with my n95 of my sister's wedding to a dvd she can play in her home dvd player?
I've only got Vista Basic and it doesn't have windows dvd maker or anything like that...
Cheers chaps.
